Access to General Education Programs

Del Norte High School provides a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all Deaf and hard-of-hearing students. We offer a range of accessibility services, including signed language interpreting services throughout the learning environment, award-winning extracurricular programs, and an accessibility-focused campus. We are dedicated to ensuring that all students have the opportunity to reach their academic potential.

Special Education through American Signed Language

Our school offers comprehensive education services for Deaf and hard-of-hearing students. We provide direct instruction in American Sign Language, an adaptive curriculum, and cross categorical class scheduling for students with a variety of eligibilities. Our teacher of the Deaf also provides job and college preparation to help students achieve success.
